What SLA Monitor does

SLA Monitor helps your team stay on top of response-time agreements in Slack. Choose the channels you care about, set an SLA (for example, 6 hours to reply), and we’ll watch for messages from people outside your workspace that don’t get timely responses.

How it works

  1. Add channels to monitor and set an SLA (hours to reply).
  2. Add the SLA Monitor app to those channels.
  3. Configure optional pre-SLA alerts and who should be notified.
  4. When external messages arrive, SLA Monitor tracks whether your team replies in time.
  5. If the SLA is close to failing or is missed, the right people are notified and the message appears in the “Messages that failed the SLA” list.
